A slightly more garagey/punkrock sound but ultimately still reminiscent of a lot of the Revolution Summer era bands as well. Why do these bands live in Leeds? Darren, Rich & I need this kind of stuff down south!
...right, Facel Vega are easily one of the best bands in the country right now. Totally killer hardcore punk channeling the energy and sound of Rites Of Spring and other 'Revolution Summer' era bands. Seriously just fucking incredible. Harbour were new to me, but they also play a more melodic brand of hardcore punk, bringing to mind bands like Swiz, Gray Matter, Verbal Assault, Dag Nasty and the 90s bands those insprided. Great split lp, some of the best bands the UK currently has to offer.
